Christmas Food For Toddlers
What would a Christmas Celebration be without food. Being pint sized, and limited a little in the diet department doesn’t mean that your toddler’s Christmas fair has to be boring.
For a Southern Hemisphere Celebration, here are some ideas to fill them up before the lollies and candy get offered :
- Fruit and Yoghurt Dip – fresh seasonal fruit, served with a yummy yoghurt.
- Frozen Bananas
- Dried Fruit and Cereal Cups
- Cheese and Vegemite pastries
- Hommus and vegies to dip in it
And if you want something a little more decadent:
Apricot Balls: They’re a little high on the sugar side, so limit it to one or two.
Ingredients:
400g tin condensed milk
250g Granita Biscuits
3 Orange Juice
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup dried apricots, chopped
Preparation:
mix all ingredients together
roll into balls
roll balls in extra coconut
put in the fridge to set, or you can even freeze them!
