Secret Diaper Tips
Using cloth diapers is so easy! Here are some tips from real Moms, who use cloth diapers.
- Sunshine gets rid of the toughest of poo stains
- A drop of teatree oil in your wash, can get rid of urine smells
- Put bi-carb powder in your diaper bucket to help with odours
- If your diapers go crunchy in the sun, put them for a quick spin in the clothes dryer to soften – altertnatively rub them together until they’re soft.
- Don’t use Vinegar on cloth diapers with a waterproof layer – it rots the layer
- Vinegar can be used on terry flats, to soften, and bleach them.
- Microfleece makes a great cloth diaper liner, and helps keep baby’s bottom dry
- Use a comb to clean velcro if it gets a fluffy build up in it. (Pet stores often have stainless steel combs that are great for this)
