Well we have heaps of recipes at http://www.naturalparentingtips.com/playdough/ultimate-playdough-recipe-resource/

The easy peasy no cook is the best one in terms of ease to make and the texture is really good as well. If you don’t have cream of tartar our recipe at http://www.naturalparentingtips.com/creative-play/no-cream-tartar-playdough-recipe/ shows you a substitute, but it is essentially the same recipe as above.

If you are uneasy about using food coloring then you can also check out http://www.naturalparentingtips.com/playdough-recipes/natural-coloring-playdough/ which shows you how to color your playdough naturally.

If you have cream of tartar I recommend following the easy peasy no cook playdough recipe.

To get the brightest colors for the playdough recipe, try adding the coloring at the end when you are kneading, wear gloves though if you worry about staining your hands.
