This paper airplane was one I stumbled upon while making up new and crazy designs. It's by far the best I have made, it flys well in wind, flys straight and just seems to glide through the air. In my first video tutorial attempt, here is the design. This is real world airplane making. No guy in a clean apartment here. Spilt water, kids running around, dog running around and paper torn out of a catalogue. Nice work! Number 3 A little bit spooky, but lots of fun!

I'm an old hat at nursing now, having been doing it for nearly 3 years non-stop. But those earlier days could have been a lot easier with hindsight. 1. Breastfeeding is natural, but a learned skill. If someone had told me, before I started nursing that while breastfeeding is the most natura

Your Child’s Report Card [Discussion]
As a child, my school report card was either something I triumphantly took home to my parents, or stashed in my school bag, hoping it might disintegrate unnoticed with the rotting banana and soggy sandwich. If I had performed well, and my card reflected this, I was so proud to show it to my parent

We lived in communities where everyone would raise the children, it was not the sole responsibility of the parent. Parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, neighbors, friends all helped in raising children. So now more than ever we need to look after ourselves to make sure we can look after our children. There i
[caption id="attachment_546" align="alignright" width="320" caption="Photo By Base10"][/caption] This year, we're celebrating Halloween with the boys. So I've been on a discovery journey to learn how to carve a decent Jack-O-Lantern. I'd love to be able to carve some like the ones in the picture, but for this year, I'll be sticking to the basic, old school Jack :) To Carve A Jack-O-Lantern: You will need A pumpkin A Wax Crayon, or Pastel to trace a pattern A thin bladed knife
Toddler's are incredibly resilient creatures, in my experience, our resident "Danger Mouse" is also an incredibly fearless creature, who regularly throws himself off slides, chairs, tables, climbs to great heights, and jumps or tumbles down. Needless to say, a good first aid kit was an essential investment in our house. Our first aid kit is stocked well with sticking plasters, bandages and heat and ice packs. In addition to all the regular stuff, a well stock first aid kit can include a
Discipline, means "To Teach". When young children are doing something you don't want them to do, it's not because they are naughty it's because they don't know any better. They are new to the world and are exploring anything and everything they can reach or climb on. It is up to us parents to guide them to explore in a respectful and safe manner. So when a child is doing something you would consider naughty or unsafe, the reaction most people get (including me) is to say "stop it", or t
