Reducing Chemical Toxicity
Toxic chemicals are found in most ‘everyday’ household cleaning products. Ingredients like Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, and other petrol derived chemicals are bad news for humans.
Reducing the chemical toxicity of your home, can improve the wellbeing of your household, and even eliminate allergies and illness. Many of us are run down simply because our bodies contending with breaking down the toxic chemicals that are absorbed into our skin, simply by living.
There are really simple things you can do to reduce the chemical toxicity of your household:
- Clean with naturally derived products- vinegar to cut grease, bicarb soda to eliminate odour, castille (olive oil ) soap for detergent.
- Keep a rule of thumb, if it’s not safe to eat, it’s not safe to touch with your skin, which absorbs chemicals.
- Choose natural fibres. If you must lay synthetic carpet, give it a good chance to air out before walking on it, or much less allowing your child to crawl or walk on it.
- Eat organic food – if you can’t, wash all fruit and veg in hot soapy water before consuming.
- At the least, eliminate processed packaged food (Its easy, and you’ll feel better forĀ it)
- Breastfeed.
- Choose naturally derived body products. Learn to read labels, not everything that says it’s organic is…
- Research vaccinations before injecting your child. Many vaccinations include ingredients that you would find in a car engine… or worse.
Improve your health, reduce your allergies, and detox your home!
